Hi and welcome!
1. If you’re referring to the Copilot sidebar or panel in your editor, you can close it using the “X” on the panel or shortcut like Ctrl + B (in VS Code) to toggle the sidebar.
2. GitHub Copilot’s usage is not based on a credit system. The $10/month or $20/month (for Business) is a flat subscription — unused “requests” or money don’t roll over. So the $5 would not carry over.
