Is Claude's premium model Claude Opus 4 available in GitHub copilot Agent mode in pro plus plan? For vs code integration? I have heard that opus 4 is available for chat mode only.

No, Claude Opus 4 is not available in Agent Mode in VS Code—even on the Pro+ plan. It’s only available in Copilot Chat. For Agent Mode workflows in VS Code, you’ll continue using GPT‑4.1.

What You Can Do
-Use Opus 4 in chat: Switch to Copilot Chat and select Claude Opus 4 from the model picker.
