As a Tester I'd like the XML-to-PHP generator to create the PHP test files inside the Module directory that it's associated with.

AC:

  1. Tests listed in a specific Module (ex "Sales") should be exported to that Module directory instead of the "_generated" directory.
  2. Tests listed in a specific Module should use the Namespace for that Module instead of a generic Namespace.

I would want to pick this up but for functional tests that test end to end flow where would you put those tests? For example, where would you put tests that creates a product, adds it to cart, complete checkout and test order functionality in the backend?

I am closing this due to inactivity and the fact that it needs further internal discussion. @okolesnyk please create a Jira issue to be groomed by the team if you feel strongly about this feature.
