bug: batch updating a workspace with new build parameters does not work

Expected:

Batch updating workspaces with new required build parameters should provide a way for the user to set values for the new build parameters.

Or at least provide a graceful fallback mechanism letting the user know that batch updating is not possible for workspaces with new build parameters.

Actual:

An error message is displayed and the modal window remains with no other feedback.
