Replacing fast-glob package

In reference to this article: https://huntedlabs.com/popping-fast-globs-hood/ I am looking for a way to use tailwindcss without having fast-glob as a child dependency. Has there been considerations to creating a fork or version of tailwindcss that does not depend on fast-glob? Thanks for the consideration as this would be very helpful for any developer building software for the Department of Defense.

I don't think there are any packages in this repo that directly have fast-glob as a dependency in the latest version, via this GitHub search. Is it some deep dependency perhaps?
