I have a notification icon that I cannot get rid of. There is no pending activity for me to work on. I see that I am probably mentioned and participating in some issue/discussion which is causing the notification. When I click on those menu items, I don't see anything. I have cleared cookies in my browser and the issue does not go off.

Any one know how can I get rid of it? The eternal notification icon blocks me from getting actual notification.
