Hi everyone,
Hello GitHub Community,
I am writing to seek assistance with the GitHub Student Developer Pack verification process.
I am a student currently on my university campus and connected to the official campus Wi-Fi network. However, every time I attempt the student authentication process, I receive a pop-up message stating that I am not at my school's location. This error is preventing me from completing my verification.
I have already tried some basic troubleshooting steps, including:
Ensuring that I am not using a VPN or proxy service.
Clearing my browser's cache and cookies.
Trying the process on a different browser.
Despite these efforts, the issue persists. It seems the location verification system may not be correctly identifying my university's network IP range as being on-campus.
Could anyone offer guidance on how to resolve this? Is there an alternative way to verify my on-campus status, or is it possible for the university's network information to be updated in your system?
Thank you for your time and any help you can provide.
Best regards,
chen
