This feature is currently in public preview and is rolling out gradually to Copilot Enterprise and Copilot Pro+ users and It is available only from the new "Files changed" page.
Copilot now analyzes and organizes the changes in a pull request. Copilot change groups helps reviewers understand and navigate complex pull requests by automatically grouping related changes such as refactors, configuration updates, or test improvements. This makes it easier to understand the purpose and impact of each set of changes.
With Copilot change groups, you can:
*Quickly understand the intent behind each set of changes.
*Review complex pull requests faster and with more confidence.
*Focus on critical changes instead of smaller, less significant updates.
Consideration
To use Copilot change groups, opt in to the new "Files changed" preview page by selecting Try the new experience in the top-right corner of the Files changed tab.
Groups are generated only for medium to large-sized PRs
Groups are only generated when a pull request is created or pushed to
You can hide groups from the settings gear menu by unchecking Show changes by group (see image below)
