Hi @coderiyke, This community is managed by GitHub employees, but it is not a support forum. The only place to go for answers to account-specific questions like this one is opening a ticket on our Support page. For account related issues, GitHub Support requires that you contact them from the email address verified on that account. If you haven't already, please submit a request using this form: https://support.github.com/contact/cannot_sign_in When completing this step, you won't be required to sign in, but you will need to verify your email address. If you're currently signed into a different account, please sign out first before following the link. This is a public forum, and the community is unable to assist with nor escalate your ticket, but we can assure you it is in the right place. It will be answered in the order it was received based on our team's resources and the amount of tickets ahead of yours. As no other Community Discussions team members will be able to provide additional help with account related questions I am going to close this discussion. We appreciate your understanding and patience while Support works through your request! |

Body
Hello GitHub Support Team,
My account (@bot101) was recently suspended after I received an email from the GitHub Trust & Safety team stating that certain content in my account was reported to contain “hidden BeaverTail malware.” I would like to respectfully appeal this decision and request a thorough review of my account activity.
I want to clarify that I have never intentionally written, uploaded, hosted, or executed any malicious code or executable on GitHub. If any such content was detected, it may have come from a forked repository, as I frequently fork projects for learning purposes, debugging, or making contributions and fixes to projects I use professionally or personally.
My account currently has over 100 repositories, some of which have been dormant or unmaintained for a long time. Because of this, it’s difficult for me to identify which specific repository may have triggered the violation. I would be very grateful if the Trust & Safety team could share details about the specific repositories or content involved, so I can review them and ensure compliance going forward.
This suspension has had a serious impact on my work as a contractor, since my GitHub profile is a key part of my professional portfolio. I genuinely believe this may have been a false positive or automated flag, and I am fully prepared to cooperate with any review process or provide additional information if needed.
Thank you for taking the time to review this. I sincerely hope the team can reconsider the suspension after a deeper look.
