I received a GitHub notification for a security advisory a couple of months ago, which had a High severity. I recently viewed our security advisories and noticed we had a Critical severity. It was the same advisory which was High severity in the email. Had I been notified that the severity increased to Critical, I would have addressed the advisory immediately rather than at our periodic cadence for less-than-critical advisories.

Can an additional notification be sent if a security advisory has its severity level increased?
