The font when I browse code in GitHub is weird.

Well even in the input I write this issue in right now:

At first I thought that would be related to an extension in Chrome, and when I opened GitHub in an anonymous tab, the problem seemed gone. However as soon as I connected to my account (still in anonymous session) the font started to look weird again.

Which means, it's not an extension issue, and it only appears when I'm logged in GitHub.
Anyone else having this issue?

(I'm on fedora wayland)

I’m experiencing the same issue — the font only looks strange when logging in.
The font that appears strange also seems to be the same one.
Using Ubuntu24.04 and x11.

@vdegenne Thanks! I tried reloading without cache, but it didn’t fix it.
When I’m logged in, the font-family switches to Monaspace Neon, which seems to trigger the issue.
I can’t reproduce it in Firefox (even while logged in), so it looks like a Chrome + Monaspace Neon combo problem.

No workaround on my side yet—I'll wait and see if it gets resolved.

@raucha still having the issue? check if we have the same values for the fonts. If not try to tweak with the values and remove fonts one by one from the values. And uninstall the font from your system (not ideal I agree)

Thank you for checking in.
I just confirmed on my side, and the issue is resolved here as well.
The font name is the same, but it no longer shows the wavy appearance it had before.
It looks like the font rendering issue has been resolved.
