Request to Review Safe Browsing Warning on GitHub Pages

Hello GitHub Support Team,

My GitHub Pages sites are currently showing a red “Deceptive site / phishing” warning.
A few days ago I deployed a Netflix-clone repo by mistake. I have now removed/disabled that repo.

All of my remaining repositories (Digital Clock, Calculator, etc.) are only personal projects and do not contain any phishing or malware.

Could you please review my account and re-enable access to the GitHub Pages host?

Hi Birat,
Thanks for clarifying! Since the Netflix-clone repo has been removed, your GitHub Pages sites should no longer pose any risk. GitHub’s Safe Browsing warnings are automated, so sometimes they persist even after the offending content is removed.

The best next steps are:
Wait for GitHub’s review team to reassess your account; they typically clear false positives once the flagged content is gone.
Check your Pages settings to ensure only safe repositories are published.
Optional: Submit a formal request via GitHub Support
referencing the warning and confirming that all remaining projects are safe.
Once the review is complete, the “Deceptive site / phishing” warning should be removed and your Pages sites restored.

This topic has come up a few times already, the warning is due to a Google security policy regarding potential phishing sites, be sure to check out the discussions below for additional context:

1. My deployment pages in github are marked as dangerous sites.. but they are just simple projects like calculator and my portfolio #133058
2. SECURITY ERROR, HELP!!! #136029

To solve this, take a look at the steps shown here, but make sure that no repos hosted on GitHub Pages clone web pages like Netflix, Facebook, Instagram etcetera or contain copyrighted intellectual property that isn't yours, otherwise you'll be flagged again.
