Subject: GitHub Pages site not reachable

Hello GitHub Support,

My GitHub Pages site (https://proceed-hub.github.io/microsoft/) shows as successfully deployed in the repository settings, and the Actions logs are all green. The Pages settings also say the site is live.

However, the site is not reachable for me or for others in different locations (for example, in the U.S.), even though it sometimes worked before. It shows “ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED.”

Could you please check if there is an issue with my GitHub Pages deployment or with the GitHub Pages servers?

You need to rename your scholarship.html to index.html in order for it to work.

you did not have either the default README.md or the index.html, so there is no auto landing page, but you have the scholarship.html, which will be served too since GitHub Pages was successful

you can change the filename to be index.html so it will be served exactly at the root, https://proceed-hub.github.io/microsoft/

so again this is the correct URL to access your site for now, unless you update it,

https://proceed-hub.github.io/microsoft/scholarship.html
