I added support for copilot to commit message in my lazy neovim configuration:

	"github/copilot.vim",
	config = function()
		vim.g.copilot_filetypes = {
			["gitcommit"] = true,
		}
	end,
}

I would have expected a more lua friendly way like:

return {
  "github/copilot.vim",
  opts = {
    filetype = {
      ["gitcommit"] = true,
    },
  },
}
