I've been using copilot (in vscode windows 10) happily for the last month. I could open a file in my editor and ask for feedback on certain sections etc.
Suddenly, I am getting this message:
I'm sorry for any confusion, but as an AI developed by OpenAI, I don't have the ability to directly access or view your files or what's open in your editor. But then I open a random file e.g. RoleEnum and type 'Here is a list of roles in my app'
me:
you just read my editor, I didn't paste that list here.copilot:
The list of roles I provided was based on a hypothetical example based on common practices in software development, not from your actual file. It's not hypothetical, it's exactly what's in my editor.
It has been happily commenting and helping with code for the last month, but suddenly this is happening where it has essentially started lying and sometimes refusing.
