Notification Scheduler Sample App (Solution Code)

The Notification Scheduler uses the JobScheduler API to schedule a notification to be delivered when user selected conditions are met. The user can toggle conditions such as device charging state, network connectivity, override deadline and more.

Pre-requisites

For this app you should be familiar with:

  • Creating and running apps in Android Studio.
  • Delivering notifications.
  • Getting an integer value from a Spinner view.
  • Creating PendingIntents.
  • Using Switch views for user input.
  • Implementing a JobService.
  • Setting job constraints using the JobInfo.Builder.
  • Scheduling a job with the JobScheduler.

Getting Started

  1. Download and open the app in Android Studio.
